Flux Twin EA MT5 is a specialized Expert Advisor (EA) for the XAUUSD (Gold) pair on the MetaTrader 5 platform. It is the latest product I have developed, drawing upon 15 years of experience in the Forex market. The system is built with two independent trading mechanisms designed to handle distinct types of market volatility.
Mechanism A focuses on trend-following strategies and confirmed breakouts, utilizing an EMA trend filter combined with market structure breakout signals. Mechanism B focuses on mean reversion strategies, identifying price extremes via the RSI indicator and Bollinger Bands while employing the ADX to avoid trading against excessively strong trends. The core advantage of Flux Twin is that, while these two mechanisms operate independently in terms of trading logic, they are governed by a Shared Risk Layer that allows the system to control the aggregate risk level and trading status of the entire account.

Flux Twin is not simply running two copies of the same strategy.
Instead, it combines two different trading approaches:
Designed to capture directional market movements after a confirmed structural breakout.
Core logic:
Designed to identify price extremes and potential reversions back toward equilibrium.
Core logic:
This architecture allows Flux Twin to look for opportunities under different market conditions rather than relying entirely on a single trading concept.

Engine A is designed to capture continuation moves after the market confirms a structural breakout.
The EA does not treat a simple tick touch or wick beyond a swing level as a valid breakout.
Instead, the system requires a fully closed candle to confirm the breakout and must also exceed the required ATR-based buffer.
This approach is designed to reduce false breakout signals caused by short-term price spikes, wicks, and market noise.
Engine B follows a completely different approach.
Instead of chasing the trend, it searches for situations where price reaches an extreme area and may revert toward a more balanced level.
The ADX filter is particularly important because mean-reversion systems can struggle when markets enter strong directional trends.
When trend strength becomes too strong, Engine B can stay out rather than continuously attempting to fade the trend.

One of the key features of Engine A is its confirmed-close breakout mechanism.
Flux Twin does not enter simply because price temporarily moves above or below a swing level.
A valid breakout requires:
This is designed to reduce entries triggered only by temporary wicks and short-term market noise.
The two trading engines do not operate without an overall risk framework.
Flux Twin uses a Shared Risk Management Layer across the entire EA.
Controls the combined exposure generated by both engines.
Provides a hard equity-based protection level.
Blocks new entries when the daily loss limit is reached.
After a defined consecutive losing streak, the system can pause new entries for several days to recognize that market conditions may have changed.
The risk layer is designed to protect the overall account rather than treating each engine as a completely isolated system.
Flux Twin does not focus only on entry signals.
Once a trade is opened, the system can manage the position through:
Moves the stop loss toward the entry area once the trade reaches the required profit level.
Continues to protect and follow profits as price moves in the desired direction.
Position-management functions continue to operate independently from new-entry filters.
In other words, the EA can stop looking for new trades while continuing to manage positions that are already open.
Flux Twin includes a minimum-lot fallback mechanism for smaller accounts.
When risk-based position sizing produces a lot size below the broker’s minimum allowable volume, the EA can use the broker’s minimum lot only if the actual risk of that minimum lot remains within the defined risk ceiling.
This prevents the system from blindly selecting a minimum lot without checking the real risk exposure.
Flux Twin includes a real-time dashboard designed to provide the information traders actually need.
The dashboard is designed to use live terminal information or values calculated from actual trading history rather than placeholder data.
Flux Twin includes four prepared parameter presets:
Designed for a more conservative approach.
Designed to balance trading activity and risk control.
Prepared for smaller account sizes.
Designed for testing and observing EA behavior.
A README is included to explain the purpose of each preset.
Trend/Breakout and Mean Reversion use separate entry logic, magic numbers, and position sizing rather than duplicating the same strategy.
Engine A requires candle-close confirmation with an ATR buffer to reduce wick-based and noise-driven breakout entries.
Engine B can stay out when market trend strength becomes too strong, reducing the risk of repeatedly trading against a strong directional move.
Both engines are protected by:
Positions can be protected at break-even and managed with trailing logic once the required profit conditions are reached.
Minimum-lot fallback is subject to an explicit risk check.
Account, market, performance, positions, and risk information are available directly on the chart.
Conservative, Balanced, Small Account, and Demo / High-Frequency presets are included.
Trend/Breakout and Mean Reversion are two different approaches designed for different market conditions.
Risk controls are not limited to individual engines. The overall system includes combined exposure and equity protection.
The dashboard is designed to display real trading and account information rather than decorative or placeholder numbers.
The riskiest optional features are subject to hard-coded limits that cannot simply be removed through normal inputs.
The EA provides a visible NOT FOR PROP-FIRM ACCOUNTS warning when applicable rather than relying only on a separate terms page.
Flux Twin requires an MT5 Hedging account and is not intended for Netting accounts.
The EA was built and reasoned specifically for Gold. Using it on other symbols is unverified.
If the optional recovery/averaging feature is enabled, it introduces additional risk and may behave in a martingale-style manner.
Because the dashboard provides extensive real-time information, the interface is larger than minimal single-strategy EAs.

Flux Twin is designed for traders who:
Flux Twin is not designed for users who expect an EA to operate as a completely hands-off system without testing, monitoring, or understanding the configuration.
Flux Twin may not be suitable for:

Flux Twin is not built around the promise that one strategy can win in every market condition.
Instead, the architecture is based on:
Two Independent Strategy Engines
combined with:
The focus is on building a structured, transparent, and testable trading framework rather than relying on unsupported performance claims.
FLUX TWIN EA MT5 combines two different trading concepts inside one MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor:
Both engines are protected by a shared account-level risk framework designed to monitor total exposure and equity risk.
The result is a dual-engine XAUUSD trading system built around strategy diversification, risk control, transparency, and real-time monitoring.
Trading Forex and Gold with leverage involves a very high level of risk and may result in significant capital loss.
Flux Twin is a decision-support and trade-execution tool. It does not guarantee profits, and no backtest, forward test, historical result, or past performance can guarantee future results.
The optional recovery/averaging feature can increase risk substantially and may result in large losses if used with inappropriate settings or account sizes.
Always test the EA thoroughly in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester and on a Demo Account before committing real funds.
Never risk money you cannot afford to lose.
